Jarrod Davies, O.D., FCOVD currently practices in South Jordan, Utah as the clinical director of Utah Vision Development Center. Todd Daniels, MS, ATC, LMT, CSCS

Todd Daniels is a certified athletic trainer, strength and conditioning specialist, and massage therapist with over 20 years of experience working with elite athletes.  Currently, he is an Athletic Trainer for Banner University Medical Group in Tucson, Arizona where he specializes in concussion management and provides clinical support for the University of Arizona Athletic Department and FC Tucson professional soccer team.  He has international experience with the United States Ski Team and spent 11 years working with professional hockey players in the NHL, AHL, and WHL.  He started his career in soccer; teams have included the 2002 and 2005 NCAA Division 1 women’s soccer champions, University of Portland; and the US Men’s and Women’s National Soccer Teams.

Sports vision has been a special interest area for Daniels since 2002 when he began collaborating with Nike as a consultant on projects including the Hi-vis soccer ball, MaxSight contact lenses, Vapor Strobe Specs, and Sensory Station.  He has continued to advance sports vision in the athletic training community by serving as the official Liaison of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association Board of Directors to the AOA and was awarded the Eagle Award in 2014 from the AOA Sports Vision Section.  Daniels has lectured extensively on sports vision to both the athletic training and optometry communities on topics including eye injury care, concussion management, and performance enhancement.

Jennifer Stewart, OD

Dr. Jennifer Stewart is a partner at Norwalk Eye Care. She earned her Doctorate of Optometry from the New England College of Optometry in Boston, MA, Her professional interests and specialties include sports and performance vision, dry eye management, multifocal contact lens fitting, and medical eye care.

While at NECO, Dr. Stewart founded the Sports and Performance Vision Club. She also served as a consultant to the Worldwide Performance Vision Council, a group of doctors dedicated to developing new methods of testing and training athletes, most recently Olympic athletes. Dr. Stewart has had the opportunity to work with athletes from the Miami Dolphins NFL team, the US Olympic Track and Field team, the NY Knicks Basketball team, the Danbury Westerners minor league baseball team, various Boston College athletic teams, and Special Olympic athletes.

Dr Stewart is also the co-founder and Chief Optometric Officer at Performance 20/20, a practice specializing in sports and performance vision. Dr Stewart and her team have worked with youth, elite, college and professional athletes of all sports to improve their performance. Dr. Stewart has been named The Next Generation of Leadership, as well as A Rising Star by Vision Monday. She was also voted the Best Eye Doctor in Fairfield County by The Fairfield County Weekly, and one of The Top 40 Under 40 by the Fairfied County Business Journal.

In her spare time, Dr. Stewart trains for and competes in triathlons and road races. She was a Division 1 college athlete, and still holds two college track and field school records.
